“We hired Don Wall, The Pool Doctor, after meeting with a ton of other contractors.  Don Wall was very patient with us explaining the project step by step and providing numerous recommendations, many of which we accepted.  He is extremely knowledgeable of every aspect of the project and he has a great crew of skilled craftsmen, especially Nathan and Daniel.  Our project was a large one on the edge of a canyon with a 40,000 gallon pool we converted to salt water, added a 9 foot grotto, water fall, built in slide, big spa, 4 foot fire pit and 8 foot built-in BBQ. All of this had to be coordinated with another contractor that removed the cement around the pool and installed over 2,000 square feet of pavers.  Don worked extremely well with the paver contractor and even assisted them with a few recommendations as well.  Don and his staff are experts in our opinion.  We often spent a few Saturday mornings with Don, preparing for the next phase.  We are extremely satisfied with Don Wall's Team and often receive lots of compliments on our back yard now and we highly recommend that you contact The Pool Doctor, and include them in your decision making process. You will not be disappointed.”

“We recently purchased an older home that had a dated pool in need of repair.   We received 4 bids for a pool remodel which included decking, coping, tile and plaster and decided to go with The Pool Doctor. After talking to Don, and explaining the type of pool we wanted, he made several recommendations that made our pool turn out amazing.  It has really transformed our backyard.  

We found Don to be very knowledgeable, detailed and easy to work with.  He was good about developing, communicating and sticking to a schedule.  We were very happy with his crew - they are skilled craftsmen and do a great job.  Talking to Don, you can easily hear the experience he has with designing and fixing pools.  He was responsive via text message when I had questions and was flexible when I decided to make some last minute changes.

“We had a great experience working with Don and his team. They really came through for us when we needed them to meet a deadline and on top of that, they do quality work. Don is attentive, professional, and easy to work with. He showed great care and knowledge when he came to give us a bid.

We bought a house with the original pool from the 70's and it was dated and in bad shape. Don made recommendations that stayed within our budget and chose materials that not only looks beautiful, but would last. He quoted us for demolitions, concrete work, new tile, stone work, coping, new pool equipment, and Pebble Tec not only for the pool but surrounding planters and areas that needed new concrete.

Not everything went perfectly - there was a mistake on the timing of the project which could have caused major delays, but Don and his team really pulled out the stops and came through for us to meet our deadline. I have a lot of respect for that and could not be happier.

“A+++.  Beautiful work; phenomenal.  A beyond-our-expectations transformation/resuscitation of an early 70's pool that had missing tiles, aging plaster, and cracked concrete.  This was a job that other companies had run away from when we'd tried to deal with it a few years prior. Don and his team did amazing stuff in the most professional manner.   That included walking us thru the options for project scope, finish, and tile selection.   And all at a price that was under what we'd expected.”

“Building a pool is an extremely risky and expensive project that most people prefer to avoid due to either shoddy workmanship, budget overages or builder incompetency/fraud. We tried to buy a house/pool already done and spoke with several different pool contractors during this process, including locally referred Don Wall (The Pool Doctor).

From the get go, you just know he is the real deal. Don does not give the typical sales pitch trying to convince you to upgrade to unnecessary items or features with known problems in pool construction. It was an obvious choice to select The Pool Doctor to build our new construction pool/outdoor area including decking and BBQ island finishes. Don's extensive technical experience and background enables him to guide you during the project and choose wisely regarding budgets and design. He knows everything there is to know about pool building (and researches if something new), and will warn you about all potential problems. Don is straightforward, and has the confidence to know he will not fail in the pool building project. He's willing to take on new challenges.

The Pool Doctor's full time staff is very talented with excellent craftsmanship, and all subcontractors are solid choices as well. The Pool Doctor team is busy building and remodeling pools so be prepared to be patient and get into the queue for a gorgeous well built outdoor living area! Don's solid reputation in the pool building industry is well deserved. And yes, if we ever move we're certainly having Don build our next pool!”
